There is no Mori account, sign-in, email address, or password. Mori uses a random install identifier that is not derived from your Apple Account, name, email, advertising identifier, or device identifier.
Overview
Mori is a private macro journal. You tell it what you ate in plain language, and it estimates protein, carbs, fats, and calories.
What Mori processes
- Onboarding answers. The six questions asked on first launch: your goal, what gets in your way, how often you train, how well you know macros, how you eat, and any foods you want flagged.
- Meal text you send. The description of a meal you type into the composer, so it can be turned into a macro estimate.
- Your meal journal. Foods, portions, nutrition estimates, dates, edits, and any photo you attach. The journal is stored on your device, but current-day and recent journal context is included when you ask the AI to analyze a meal.
- Purchase status. Whether a Mori Pro subscription is active, so it can be restored.
How it is stored
Onboarding answers and meal text are processed by Mori’s server, hosted on Supabase, so the assistant can estimate macros and tailor its replies to what you told it.
Onboarding answers are stored against a random identifier generated on your device the first time you open the app. That identifier is not derived from your Apple Account, email, name, device identifier, or advertising identifier. Mori does not sell this data.
Your journal is stored locally. Meal text, current-day data, and up to 14 recent journal days may be sent for AI processing when you request an analysis. Photos you attach to meals remain in the local journal and are not used to estimate nutrition.
AI processing
Meal text and relevant journal context are sent to Mori’s server, which calls OpenRouter and a model provider to produce the macro estimate. Meal titles and ingredient names may also be processed to create optional generated artwork. Mori requests providers that do not use the request for training and requires zero-data-retention routing where supported. Providers still process the request to return the result. The AI provider key is held as a server-side secret and is never included in the app.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple StoreKit. RevenueCat is used to manage subscription entitlements so a purchase can be restored across your devices. Mori never sees your payment details.
Website analytics
The Mori website uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure anonymized pageviews, traffic sources, general device and browser information, and App Store link clicks. It does not use analytics cookies. Do not include private information in a URL when visiting the site.
Removing your data
Deleting the app removes your meal journal from your device. To have onboarding answers held against your install identifier deleted, email aarizrasheed2345@gmail.com and ask for deletion. Include the install identifier shown in Mori’s support information if available; without it, Mori may be unable to locate data that is intentionally not tied to your identity.

Nutrition values are estimates, and you can correct any of them. Mori is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a regulated medical device in any country or region.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will change with it.
