Keep the serving basis unchanged while converting. If 840 kJ is listed per 100g, the 201-Calorie result is also per 100g. Unit conversion does not change the portion. If 1208 kJ is listed for one pack, the 289-Calorie answer describes one pack, not 100g.
Why kcal and Calories mean the same thing here
Scientific terminology distinguishes a small calorie from a kilocalorie. Food labels and everyday nutrition use the larger unit. A label showing 200 kcal means what people commonly call 200 Calories.
