Read what the nutrition number describes
USDA FoodData Central Foundation Foods documentation says its reported portion weights use edible material without refuse. Its examples include an apple without the core or stem and a chicken leg without the bone. The nutrient values are reported per 100g of that edible portion.
That does not mean every package or app entry is labeled clearly. Check the complete description for words such as raw, cooked, edible portion, meat only, meat and skin, drained, or as prepared.
